April Vacation Volleyball Camp

Stay active during the April school break!  Simsbury Trojans Volleyball Camp is a camp designed to introduce the game of volleyball to young and new players (both boys and girls currently in 4th-8th grade).  The camp is run by Varsity Coach Brian Leblanc who coaches both the boys and girls varsity team at Simsbury High School.  Coach Leblanc also is a physical education teacher at SHS and an Assistant Director for the Impulse Volleyball club.  Several players from the SHS volleyball team will assist with the camp to help teach the basics of the game.
 
This camp is intended to help introduce the game of volleyball to young athletes and to help prepare them for future volleyball experiences. 
 
No experience is needed to attend camp.  Players will learn basic concepts and skills including forearm passing, setting, hitting, serving, and defensive positioning.  Campers should come to camp with sneakers, a water bottle, and athletic clothing (knee pads are not required but some campers do wear them if they are worried about diving on the floor).
 
Campers may earn small prizes throughout the week and will be  given a camp t-shirt at the end of the week!
