Curtis Lacrosse was founded in 2008 by Ryan Curtis, a teacher and coach at Westminster School. Prior to moving to Simsbury in 2017, Ryan was the Head Lacrosse Coach at the University of Vermont for the last ten years and has played lacrosse at the D1, Professional and International level. Curtis Lacrosse has been running Vermont ’s premier youth and elite camps for almost a decade. We are excited to bring that expertise to Connecticut this summer! The goal of Curtis Lacrosse is to help young lacrosse players build the foundation they need to understand and enjoy the game. Our camps are true “teaching camps” taught by D1 college coaches, lacrosse professionals and college players.
Curtis Lacrosse partnered with 2Way to continue its mission of spreading the great game of lacrosse. With a unique combination of years of experience coaching at the highest levels of lacrosse and youth development camps, our goal is to introduce lacrosse to beginners in a fun filled environment while also developing the existing skill sets of our more advanced players. We combine the latest training techniques with time tested methods to build the fundamental base that players of any level need to be successful.
This clinic is an exciting and low stress week of lacrosse for every level. We will work on the basics with beginners and fine tune lacrosse skills with intermediate players. All of the participants will be broken into age/skill level groups and learn drills, have fun skills contests and work in stations to improve their game.
