This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Our staff has been working diligently with local and state health officials to devise a plan that will allow us to safely open our aquatics facilities this summer for you, your family and our employees.  This comprehensive plan will include thorough and frequent cleanings of facilities, a plan ahead reservation process for public swim sessions and a reduction in the capacity of our facilities to ensure enough room for safe social distancing.

Season Passes – Season Passes to our facility are available only to Simsbury residents. Residents can choose to purchase a season pass for a family of four for $145 with option to add on additional family members, from the same household, for $25.  Residents can also purchase Individual Season Passes for $80  or Senior Season Passes for $40 as well.  If you had previously purchased a Season Pass and, after reviewing the new 2020 guidelines, feel that it is no longer a good option or value for your family, we will offer you a full refund if you notify us of your choice by phone or email by Friday, June 12, 2020. Wading Pool Sessions – There will be two wading pool sessions, weather permitting, each day of our swim season that is expected to begin June 20, 2020. These afternoon public swim sessions will be three hours long with an hour between each session for our staff to do a thorough cleaning of the facility in between the groups.  Mon-Fri, 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM & 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. There are no public swim sessions or lap swims scheduled in the larger pool at Memorial Park at this time. As our capacity is expected to be about 50% of our typical max number of people on the pool deck, everyone is required to reserve your family members’ space in the public swim session using our online registration system at www.simsburyrec.com.  2020 Season Pass holders will be able to reserve their space in a wading pool session beginning at 8am (EST) the day before the session takes place.  Season Pass holders will have exclusive access for 24 hours to reserve their space (while available) and at 8am (EST) reservations will then open to Simsbury resident non-season pass holders for any remaining spots in the public swim sessions for that day.  The daily admission price for non-season pass holders (residents only) is $3 per person.  This fee will be collected during the online reservation process.

Refunds in the form of account credit will be given only if the pool does not open  for the session.

Check-In at the Pool – When you arrive at the pool, you will follow social distancing markers while going from the sidewalk to the pool’s check-in window, adults and children over 14 years old must wear a mask during the check in process and while they are in other common areas of the facility (snack bar line, going to the restrooms). At the pool check in window, you will be asked to provide the account name for your family’s registration and the number of people in your group.  You will also be asked to show ID verifying the account name used for the online reservation and only those who we have a reservation for the public swim session will be admitted into the pool area.

While On The Pool Deck
– We need every group to properly social distance themselves from other groups while on our pool deck. In an effort to assist with this, we will have markings on our deck area that should easily accommodate enough space for 4-5 people with room for others to get by safely. Adults are required to wear a mask or face covering from the parking area until settled on the pool deck.  A mask or face covering will not be required while sitting or while in the water.  Our new "Please Force" will be on the pool deck this summer offering gentle reminders about social distancing when necessary.

C
leaning And Sanitizing Our Facilities -  Our “Clean Team” will be working hard to disinfect common touch services such railings, door handles, restrooms, etc.  throughout the day.  We ask that you do your best to cover your coughs and sneezes and dispose of soiled tissues as quickly as possible.  Please be patient as you may have to wait for a restroom while our staff completes a frequent cleaning.

We know these have been trying times for everyone and we appreciate your patience and support as we navigate this process together through the summer. Our team looks forward to serving your family this summer in a safe and fun environment.
