Veterans can continue to register however the tables will likely be reserved early and we may cut off registration when we get to the capacity of the PAC.  During the online registration process, you must register all members of your group who will be attending the event.

PAC Layout, Restrictions and Parking:
The Simsbury Performing Arts Center will be set up to facilitate COVID restrictions and allows an audience of up to 2000 attendees as follows.

*All attendees have to be pre-registered to gain access to the events.

There will be 8 feet diameter circles laid out in the lawn for families and their lawn chairs. The circles are 6 feet apart to provide the required social distancing.

The latest guidelines issued by the State of Connecticut Health Department indicate that businesses hosting large scale outdoor events with individuals who are unvaccinated in attendance (i.e. under 12 years old) should  consider requiring masks.  Therefore, Simsbury Meadows will continue to recommend that patrons wear a face mask to discourage the spread of COVID-19.

The area between the stone wall and the stage is reserved for veterans their families and guests, and performers. It will include tables that must be reserved and are for parties of 6 to 8.

There will also be single seating along the wall for veterans seated by themselves or with spouse, guest, or caregiver. All others must be in the circles in the lawn area only.

Food and beverages will only be available for purchase from food trucks, pizza tent and Moonlight Café that will be located on site.  Outside food and beverages will not be allowed to be brought in. Coolers or beverage containers will not be permitted.

Parking will be allowed on site or in the public parking across Iron Horse Blvd. Handicapped parking and for veterans with limited mobility will be available next to the band shell in designate areas. There will be parking attendants to direct you to the proper location.

Your help is needed!
In the past, the Simsbury veteran’s organizations have organized, planned and conducted these parades and associated activities. However, our ranks are dwindling due to the loss of our WWII veterans. Please consider joining the American Legion and /or Veterans of Foreign Wars post(s) to help in providing the good works that we both do in the community. Even if you cannot actively participate in all the meetings and events, your membership helps. For information regarding membership please call the Post membership coordinators:  Bob Roberts for the American Legion at 944-0807, or John Fox for the VFW at 658-0388

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
