Welcome to Mermaid University, where your underwater adventure begins! Mermaid 101 is the perfect introductory class for aspiring mermaids who want to learn how to swim gracefully and safely using a mono-fin, just like a real mermaid. In this fun and supportive class, students will learn the fundamentals of mermaid swimming, including proper body position, dolphin kick technique, underwater movement, and breath control. Through games, drills, and guided practice, new mermaids will build confidence, coordination, and strength while mastering the signature flow and magic of mermaid swimming.
This class focuses on safety, technique, and creativity, helping participants move smoothly through the water while developing strong swimming skills. Whether you’re dreaming of becoming a sea princess, ocean explorer, or underwater performer, Mermaid 101 lays the foundation for a fin-tastic journey ahead.

-Sessions held Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 9:45 AM

-Small class sizes - 1 to 4 ratio
-Lifeguard Certified Instructors
-Mermaid Tail/Monofin usage is provided. Mermaid tails come in sizes 6-12
-A custom Mermaid certificate upon completion of the class
-Digital download of underwater "Mermaid Graduation Photo" upon completion of the class
Anyone enrolling in Mermaid University must already know how to swim and be comfortable in and around water. A swim test will be held the first day of lessons for all participants. This program is not eligible for discounts.
