Mini Moves: Creative Dance
3-5 Years
Creative Dance brings together ballet, contemporary and improvisational dance along with the use of props, storytelling, and music to create an environment where dancers learn personal artistry and physical expression through their bodies. We make use of simple technical exercises and patterns along with imagery and games throughout this fun and inclusive dance class.
Guardians are welcome to stay throughout the class.
 
Mini Moves: Pop Dance
3-5 Years
Pop is a mix of contemporary and hip-hop dance set to fun, popular music. This class emphasizes the use of simple dance patterns and rhythmic movements to teach dancers how to be confident and creative with their bodies. 
Guardians are welcome to stay throughout the class.


Class Location:
Classes will be held in the Eno Hall Auditorium. The auditorium is on the main level (street level) of Eno Hall. Street parking is available and there is also parking available in the back parking lot. 

About the Instructor
Emily Daly-Fromherz grew up in Connecticut and trained at the American Academy of Ballet, Boston Ballet, the School at Steps NYC, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and The Ailey School. Emily graduated from Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in Dance and received the Baker Award for Excellence in Performing Arts. She is currently a freelance dance artist, teacher and choreographer. She spent the last nine years in San Francisco and has performed and collaborated with Risa Jaroslow & Dancers, little seismic dance company, and CALI & Co. Prior to that, Emily danced in New York City with Parsons Dance Company and Bryn Cohn & Artists and in Italy with Teriaca Ensemble. She has toured and performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and South Korea. She was the program director for RoCo Dance in Marin County, CA for 9 years where she focused on dance education and youth program development. Emily is also the co-founder and co-creator of MDRN YGA a hybrid vinyasa yoga and modern dance class that has been featured at Wanderlust Yoga Festival.
