11:00 AM - 11:40 AM	Aqua Tone - Aqua Tone MWF These classes include a progression of exercises using the water's resistance to tone up and firm without a strain. Participants need not be swimmers, but must be comfortable in the water. The program runs 8 weeks at Simsbury Farms beginning June 16.  Classes are held on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11:00-11:45.  Class will not be held on Friday, July 4.Class is taught by Certified Group Exercise Instructor Jen Lehman.Full 8-week series: $140Online registration for this program will open at 6am on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 6am.  Due to the popularity of this program, registration for non-residents will begin on Monday, March 31 at 6:00am, space allowing. 7:45 AM - 9:45 AM	Lifeguard Training - Lifeguard Training This is the Red Cross blended learning course to become a Lifeguard. It will consist of a 7 hour online course and 20 hours of in-person training. Online course information will be sent out two weeks prior to class starting date.Course Prerequisites To participate in the Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) course, participants must: -Be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the Lifeguarding course. -Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations: Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: -Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front  crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on the back or side is not  permitted. Swim goggles are allowed) -Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only  the legs -Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both o Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: -Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. (The face may be in or out of the water. Swim  goggles are not allowed).-Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 – 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound  object. -Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point,  holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface. -Exit the water without using a ladder or steps. In order to pass the course you must:-Pass the pre-testing on day one -Attend 100% of all class sessions, attendance is mandatory-Score 80% or better on written exams, and passing the final skills testing. Please understand that Lifeguard Training is an extensive physical program that requires significant skill level and independent reading. Please make sure that Lifeguard Training is an appropriate fit before you sign up. 11:00 AM - 11:40 AM	Aqua Tone - Aqua Tone MWF These classes include a progression of exercises using the water's resistance to tone up and firm without a strain. Participants need not be swimmers, but must be comfortable in the water. The program runs 8 weeks at Simsbury Farms beginning June 16.  Classes are held on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11:00-11:45.  Class will not be held on Friday, July 4.Class is taught by Certified Group Exercise Instructor Jen Lehman.Full 8-week series: $140Online registration for this program will open at 6am on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 6am.  Due to the popularity of this program, registration for non-residents will begin on Monday, March 31 at 6:00am, space allowing. 7:45 AM - 9:45 AM	Lifeguard Training - Lifeguard Training This is the Red Cross blended learning course to become a Lifeguard. It will consist of a 7 hour online course and 20 hours of in-person training. Online course information will be sent out two weeks prior to class starting date.Course Prerequisites To participate in the Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) course, participants must: -Be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the Lifeguarding course. -Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations: Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: -Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front  crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on the back or side is not  permitted. Swim goggles are allowed) -Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only  the legs -Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both o Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: -Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. (The face may be in or out of the water. Swim  goggles are not allowed).-Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 – 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound  object. -Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point,  holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface. -Exit the water without using a ladder or steps. In order to pass the course you must:-Pass the pre-testing on day one -Attend 100% of all class sessions, attendance is mandatory-Score 80% or better on written exams, and passing the final skills testing. Please understand that Lifeguard Training is an extensive physical program that requires significant skill level and independent reading. 11:00 AM - 11:40 AM	Aqua Tone - Aqua Tone MWF These classes include a progression of exercises using the water's resistance to tone up and firm without a strain. Participants need not be swimmers, but must be comfortable in the water. The program runs 8 weeks at Simsbury Farms beginning June 16.  Classes are held on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11:00-11:45.  Class will not be held on Friday, July 4.Class is taught by Certified Group Exercise Instructor Jen Lehman.Full 8-week series: $140Online registration for this program will open at 6am on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 6am.  Due to the popularity of this program, registration for non-residents will begin on Monday, March 31 at 6:00am, space allowing. 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM	Itty Bitty Swim Time - Itty Bitty Swim Time Itty Bitty Swim Time - Sensory-Friendly EnvironmentA special swim time for infants and toddlers, 4 years and younger and a parent/guardian, to experience, play and work on water acclimation in the 3-foot training pool at Simsbury Farms.This special session is held before the Simsbury Farms pool facility opens for public swimming, making it a good time for those who would benefit from a sensory-friendly environment. 7:45 AM - 9:45 AM	Lifeguard Training - Lifeguard Training This is the Red Cross blended learning course to become a Lifeguard. It will consist of a 7 hour online course and 20 hours of in-person training. Online course information will be sent out two weeks prior to class starting date.Course Prerequisites To participate in the Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) course, participants must: -Be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the Lifeguarding course. -Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations: Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: -Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front  crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on the back or side is not  permitted. Swim goggles are allowed) -Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only  the legs -Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both o Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: -Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. (The face may be in or out of the water. Swim  goggles are not allowed).-Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 – 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound  object. -Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point,  holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface. -Exit the water without using a ladder or steps. In order to pass the course you must:-Pass the pre-testing on day one -Attend 100% of all class sessions, attendance is mandatory-Score 80% or better on written exams, and passing the final skills testing. Please understand that Lifeguard Training is an extensive physical program that requires significant skill level and independent reading. Please make sure that Lifeguard Training is an appropriate fit before you sign up. Participants need not be swimmers, but must be comfortable in the water. 7:45 AM - 9:45 AM	Lifeguard Training - Lifeguard Training This is the Red Cross blended learning course to become a Lifeguard. It will consist of a 7 hour online course and 20 hours of in-person training. Online course information will be sent out two weeks prior to class starting date.Course Prerequisites To participate in the Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) course, participants must: -Be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the Lifeguarding course. -Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations: Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: -Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front  crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on the back or side is not  permitted. Swim goggles are allowed) -Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only  the legs -Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both o Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: -Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. (The face may be in or out of the water. Swim  goggles are not allowed).-Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 – 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound  object. -Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point,  holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface. -Exit the water without using a ladder or steps. In order to pass the course you must:-Pass the pre-testing on day one -Attend 100% of all class sessions, attendance is mandatory-Score 80% or better on written exams, and passing the final skills testing. Please understand that Lifeguard Training is an extensive physical program that requires significant skill level and independent reading. Please make sure that Lifeguard Training is an appropriate fit before you sign up. 7:45 AM - 9:45 AM	Lifeguard Training - Lifeguard Training This is the Red Cross blended learning course to become a Lifeguard. It will consist of a 7 hour online course and 20 hours of in-person training. Online course information will be sent out two weeks prior to class starting date.Course Prerequisites To participate in the Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) course, participants must: -Be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the Lifeguarding course. -Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations: Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: -Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front  crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on the back or side is not  permitted. Swim goggles are allowed) -Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only  the legs -Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both o Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: -Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. (The face may be in or out of the water. Swim  goggles are not allowed).-Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 – 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound  object. -Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point,  holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface. -Exit the water without using a ladder or steps. In order to pass the course you must:-Pass the pre-testing on day one -Attend 100% of all class sessions, attendance is mandatory-Score 80% or better on written exams, and passing the final skills testing. Please understand that Lifeguard Training is an extensive physical program that requires significant skill level and independent reading. Participants need not be swimmers, but must be comfortable in the water. 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM	Itty Bitty Swim Time - Itty Bitty Swim Time Itty Bitty Swim Time - Sensory-Friendly EnvironmentA special swim time for infants and toddlers, 4 years and younger and a parent/guardian, to experience, play and work on water acclimation in the 3-foot training pool at Simsbury Farms.This special session is held before the Simsbury Farms pool facility opens for public swimming, making it a good time for those who would benefit from a sensory-friendly environment. Some pool toys and noodles will be available and clean pool toys can be brought from home.Adult (16 years of age or older) supervision is required and must be in the water with the child.  Lifeguards will be on duty.  No siblings or children over 4 are allowed during this time.   Saturdays   June 7 - August 23     11:00-Noon         4 years old and younger    $2.00 per child or season passes are acceptedSpace is limited to 20 children per week.  Pre-registration not required, it is available on first come, first served basis	Simsbury Farms Pool

7:45 AM - 9:45 AM	Lifeguard Training - Lifeguard Training This is the Red Cross blended learning course to become a Lifeguard. It will consist of a 7 hour online course and 20 hours of in-person training. Online course information will be sent out two weeks prior to class starting date.Course Prerequisites To participate in the Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) course, participants must: -Be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the Lifeguarding course. -Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations: Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: -Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front  crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on the back or side is not  permitted. Swim goggles are allowed) -Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only  the legs -Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both o Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: -Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. (The face may be in or out of the water. Swim  goggles are not allowed).-Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 – 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound  object. -Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point,  holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface. -Exit the water without using a ladder or steps. In order to pass the course you must:-Pass the pre-testing on day one -Attend 100% of all class sessions, attendance is mandatory-Score 80% or better on written exams, and passing the final skills testing. Please understand that Lifeguard Training is an extensive physical program that requires significant skill level and independent reading. Please make sure that Lifeguard Training is an appropriate fit before you sign up. Participants need not be swimmers, but must be comfortable in the water. Online course information will be sent out two weeks prior to class starting date.Course Prerequisites To participate in the Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) course, participants must: -Be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the Lifeguarding course. -Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations: Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: -Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front  crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on the back or side is not  permitted. Swim goggles are allowed) -Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only  the legs -Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both o Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: -Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. (The face may be in or out of the water. Swim  goggles are not allowed).-Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 – 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound  object. -Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point,  holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface. -Exit the water without using a ladder or steps. In order to pass the course you must:-Pass the pre-testing on day one -Attend 100% of all class sessions, attendance is mandatory-Score 80% or better on written exams, and passing the final skills testing. Please understand that Lifeguard Training is an extensive physical program that requires significant skill level and independent reading. Please make sure that Lifeguard Training is an appropriate fit before you sign up. This class provides the variety your body needs to see results by combining fun cardio routines with specific muscle conditioning and core work. This is a great time to enjoy feeling the burn! 11:00 AM - 11:40 AM	Aqua Tone - Aqua Tone MWF These classes include a progression of exercises using the water's resistance to tone up and firm without a strain. Participants need not be swimmers, but must be comfortable in the water.
