Spread out over 235 rolling acres, picturesque Simsbury Farms is the hub of recreational activity in Simsbury. The ”Farms” was built on former orchard in use until 1971. it is operated and maintained by the Simsbury Culture, Parks, and Recreation Department. Designed by renowned architect Geoff Cornish, the golf course is on of the most popular and scenic in the area. The course is equipped with a lighted practice range and green, locker rooms, and full service restaurant. A variety of lessons and clinics are open to the public. Season memberships are available and weekend starting times may reserved two days (weekdays maybe booked 7 days) in advance by calling the pro shop at 860-658-6246. The course is considered a good test of golf for players of all levels and in past years has been host such tournaments as the Connecticut State Women's Amateur Championship, State High School Golf Championship, Connecticut Men's Public Links Championship, U.S Women's Public Links Qualifier, and Connecticut Open Qualifier.

Directions
From I-91 North or South Exit 40 (Bradley Airport) Follow Route 20 West through East Granby Turn left onto Route 10 South in Granby Center, Follow Route 10 South into Simsbury turning right onto Route 309 (West Street/Farms Village Road) At the third full traffic light turn right onto Old Farms Road. The Simsbury Farms Recreation Complex is 1 mile up on the right. Driving up the hill go through the 2 stops signs. The pro shop is on the right.
