CAMP STUFF-TA-DOO 2025
We currently expect online registration will begin at 6:00am on Thursday, Jan 16. Non-resident registration for this program will begin on or about Thursday, January 30 at 6:00am. We will publicize the date for the beginning of camp registration via our social media accounts (FB/Instagram), emails sent through our list serv, and via a posting on Simsbury Community Media.
Please make sure your log in credentials and your student's current grade is correct by Tuesday, 1/14, to ensure you can register.
What is Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo? Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo is a day camp designed for children who will be entering grades 1-6 in the fall of 2025. Campers are grouped by grade and enjoy fun-filled days swimming, playing games, doing arts and crafts, and taking part in all kinds of silly contests. Each week there is always a special event at camp, it could an inflatable water slide, a concert or even a foam dance party! Our staff, made primarily up of college students, keep up the fun and energy all day long while making sure everyone stays safe. This program is one of the longest running town programs and many children come back year after year!
Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo will not be held on Thursday, June 19 (Juneteenth) and Friday, July 4. After camp swim lessons will be held at Memorial Pool those days and campers enrolled in swim lessons those weeks may attend.
Daily Swimming at Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo: Weather permitting, campers will have the opportunity to go the Memorial Park Pool for a "free swim period". On the first day of each session, every camper participates in a swim test. Those that are unable to swim the length of the pool are limited to the shallow end of the pool for the remainder of the session. We use a wristband system, a lane line "border" and lifeguard supervision to ensure that weaker swimmers are limited to the shallow end of the pool. These swimmers also have access to the wading pool and spray fountain at the Memorial Pool complex.
Extended day swim lessons: You can sign your child up to take a swim lesson at the end of the camp day this year. The 3:15pm lessons are only open to campers who are in camp the same week as the lesson. (Session 2 camp and Session 2 swim lesson for example) There is a limit of 30 kids in the extended day swim lesson program, so don't wait to sign up if you would like your camper to take part! Parents will pick up their children from Memorial Pool at the end of the lesson.
Deposits: If you choose not to pay the registration fee in full at the time of registration, families registering their children for Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo (kids entering grades 1-6 in Fall ’25) will be required to pay at least a $100 deposit per child per week of camp that is signed up for and to also agree to a payment plan for the balance of the fees due. Families signing up their children for Awesome Adventure (kids entering grade 6-9 in Fall ’25) will be required to pay at least a $200 deposit per child, per week of camp being signed up for and to also agree to payment plan for the balance of the fees due. Deposit options are only available for the Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo and Awesome Adventure Camp
programs.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to pay the amount due in full please use the "adjust deposit" box to fill in the full cost of the camp session, doing this will not force you into the payment plan mode.
Payment Plans: If you have chosen not to pay the full balance due at the time of registration for Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo, you can choose to enter into a payment plan with us that is designed to pay the balance of each session off in 3 payments. Payment plans are only available for the Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo and Awesome Adventure Camp programs and only up until February 14,2025.
If you make the minimum deposit of $100 for per week of Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo, remaining payments toward the balance will be automatically charged to the credit card number, that you used for the initial deposit, in the following manner:
February 1 $55, March 1 $55, April 1 $50. If you choose do the minimum deposit for multiple weeks of camp, please multiply the above monthly payments by the number of weeks you are signing up for. If you choose to do more than a $100 deposit, it the balance will come off in payments of $55 until there is nothing more due, the final monthly payment being prorated to whatever the leftover balance is.
Please be sure to have "opted in" to receive our "cancelation" emails to ensure you receive communication regarding location changes due to weather.

Refund Policy - Please carefully review the refund/cancellation policy for these programs only.
Prior to March 31, 2025 – Full refunds for day camps will be granted for any reason, less a $10 processing fee
April 1, 2025-April 30, 2025 – Refunds for day camps will be granted for any reason less the $100 non-refundable fee (unless a Dr.'s note is provided)
Beginning May 1, 2025 – No refunds for day camps will be granted unless a Dr. note is provided.
