Ready to take the first step toward becoming a lifeguard, or even a future first responder? The Junior Lifeguard Academy is an action-packed four-day program designed for youth ages 10–14 who are eager to learn lifesaving skills but aren’t quite old enough for formal lifeguard certification yet. This academy gives participants a behind-the-scenes look at what it truly means to be a lifeguard. Through hands-on activities and skill-building challenges, students will explore real-world responsibilities, practice rescue techniques, build confidence in communication, and learn how teamwork and quick decision-making save lives. Fitness and water skills are woven throughout the program to help participants grow stronger, both physically and mentally.
Covering the same core foundations of a Lifeguard Training course, the Junior Lifeguard Academy is the perfect bridge for motivated youth who want to be ready when the time comes to earn their certification. More than just a program, this experience inspires leadership, responsibility, and service—skills that carry forward into lifeguarding, emergency response, and beyond. Start your journey! Build confidence. Become a leader when it matters most.
