Experience Food Explorer's newest program- Chopped!
Inspired by the popular TV series featuring chefs creating recipes from a random assortment of ingredients, this program challenges kids to work as a team and create a delicious dish.
You’ll get into teams and design two recipes, choosing from a selection of ingredients together, and taste testing both teams creations. All ingredients will be nut free, eggs and dairy may be used.
January Chopped: You’ll be creating two recipes: Pasta Salad and Nachos! All recipes are nut free but may contain dairy and/or eggs.

Behavior Policy
Rules, Behavior, and Discipline Policy
Participants will be responsible for following ALL program rules as listed below:
*Participants must be respectful to other participants, staff, and facilities and equipment at all times.
*Participants must remain in designated program areas at all times unless escorted by an instructor.
*Participants must stay with their instructor at all times.
*Participants must use appropriate language with other participants and staff at all times.
*Participants are only permitted to leave the program when they are signed out by a parent/guardian or other
authorized person.
All children are expected to behave in a proper and respectful manner. We will not tolerate any physical violence, name calling, foul language, destruction of property, or any other behavior deemed inappropriate by the staff. In accordance with the severity and frequency of the behavior, a behavior tracking form may be completed and kept on file. Parents will be notified and receive a copy of any such form. If warranted, the Recreation Department reserves the right to dismiss or suspend any child from the program. No refunds will be given.
