Pickleball: Learn to Play, Beginner - Morning, Beginner Simsbury Culture, Parks and Recreation is offering Learn to Play Pickleball sessions for beginners who are curious to see what the fastest growing sport in America is all about. These are low-key, non-competitive sessions where participants will have the opportunity to learn the basic rules of pickleball while getting comfortable hitting the ball in various situations.There will be equipment available to borrow for those who need it. Each session is 2, Tuesdays in a row. Choose from an 11 AM, 5:30 PM, pr 7 PM class time. The 2 classes will provide you the basics so you will be able to play recreational pickleball. Filled with lots of fun, this class will instill a love for dance in any little one! Spring Soccer Shots - Saturday, 1:15, Classic Spring Soccer Shots Registration will open on Tuesday, 2/3 at 6 AM.Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday class options!Start early and learn from the pros at Soccer Shots! Your child will have a blast participating in soccer related drills, games and fun! Programs are an 8 week session. Rain cancellations will be emailed out. Practices will be held at Weatogue Park & Meadow Pond Park. Please note the location below.Soccer Shots Classic, For Ages 3-5Utilizing creative and imaginative games we will focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.Soccer Shots Mini, For Age 2We will be introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Bring water, snack, and appropriate footwear. Pickleball: Learn to Play, Beginner - Morning, Beginner Simsbury Culture, Parks and Recreation is offering Learn to Play Pickleball sessions for beginners who are curious to see what the fastest growing sport in America is all about. These are low-key, non-competitive sessions where participants will have the opportunity to learn the basic rules of pickleball while getting comfortable hitting the ball in various situations.There will be equipment available to borrow for those who need it. Each session is 2, Tuesdays in a row. Choose from an 11 AM, 5:30 PM, pr 7 PM class time. The 2 classes will provide you the basics so you will be able to play recreational pickleball. Morning Class: 11:30 AM-12:30 PM, 5/5 & 5/12Early Evening Class: 5:30 PM-6:30 PM, 4/21 & 4/28Did you participate in a Learn to Play session last year and looking to improve your skills? Class will be centered around fairytale themes and age appropriate props (wands, crowns, wings, and more) are used to keep young dancers excited and will often be used to keep students motivated! Filled with lots of fun, this class will instill a love for dance in any little one!
