Building Up S.T.E.A.M, Ages 5-6 - Camp It's never too early to begin using the engineering design process! Children are working independently and cooperatively as they begin to explore simple machines using LEGO® Duplo® early childhood materials.There will be 2 or 3 motion-based projects introduced each day of the week with additional challenge activities for all building skill levels. Your child will have the opportunity to work with and bring home lab sheets showcasing what they build in order to share with family and continue the learning process outside of camp. Tennis Clinics: Adult Beginner - 8/19 These small group, introductory clinics are for people with no prior instruction or very little exposure to tennis. We will focus on learning the basics of the game including strokes, footwork and scoring. Our goal is to have you playing tennis within a few lessons. The lesson will include a light warmup, a “stroke of the day”, drills and some live ball play.Players should bring a water bottle, towel and hat/sunglasses/sunscreen. If you don’t have a racquet, we will provide you with a demo. We will have racquets and accessories available for sale as well.Clinic Schedule: Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 PM. We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.Soccer Shots Mini, For Age 2We will be introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Bring water, snack, and appropriate footwear.
